Ours begins with family.
We’re a Vietnamese-American brother-sister duo who grew up in a home where the kitchen was the heart of everything — filled with the scent of coconut, the warmth of freshly steamed rice, and shared meals. Our parents were at the center of it all.
Our mom always dreamed of opening a cozy café where people could connect and feel at home. Life had other plans, but that dream stayed with her and with us.
BÁNH BAKERY is our way of continuing her story, shaped by the flavors we grew up with.
In Vietnamese, “bánh” means cake, but it’s just the start. Paired with other words, it can describe anything from a savory dumpling to a delicate pastry, a sticky rice treat to a crusty baguette. That open definition reflects who we are: rooted in tradition, yet inspired by the experiences and cultures that shape us.
Our baked goods blend nostalgic Vietnamese flavors alongside American classics. Through each one, we share a taste of home and the joy of something made with heart.
